Mark Your Calendars

The Edmonson County Homemakers Christmas Bazaar will be Saturday at the community center in Brownsville. There are usually several booths to visit, and you can buy anything from Christmas decorations, gifts, baked goods and so much more. Worth mentioning...my club, the Mammoth Cave Homemakers, will be in charge of the kitchen this year and we will be selling both breakfast and lunch. On the breakfast menu we will have biscuits and gravy and sausage biscuits, with coffee, juice and soft drinks. For lunch there will be chili and hot dogs. Let's not forget...we are going to be making FUNNEL CAKES! Yum-O!! There are usually some really cute things at the Bazaar, and it's a good place to get ideas for things you can make yourself. (For those who can find the time!) I will be selling some Christmas earrings (like every year) if, and only if, Halle decides to be a dear the next couple of days and lets me make some :) I don't fully trust myself to have jewelry doo-dads and tools in one hand and a five-month-old baby in the other :) And think, the weather is going to be turning cooler (down right cold if you ask me) and there's even a chance for snow flurries! Talk about getting into a Christmasy spirit :) So...everyone mark the day and come out to join us for breakfast or lunch, or both :) , and get the Christmas bug!
