Trip to the Beach

Today the boys and I went to the beach. Not the ocean beach, you know with the salt water, but the lake beach where the water don't have salt. (Jacob really wanted to go the salt water beach, but he wasn't gonna get in the salt water) However, he had a blast. My aunt and cousins were camping out and wanted us to come for a visit, so we did. Matthew loved the camper trailer, but wasn't crazy about the beach. It was too hot for him, and me being afraid he would eat the sand, thought I'd leave him in his stroller. You should have seen me pushing, or trying to push, him through the sand. Well, he was okay until he ran out of drink, and then he was ill. I asked him if he wanted to go back to the trailer and he ever so sweetly looked at me and shook his head yes!!! We went back to the camper and got into the air conditioning. (It was very nice, and that's mine and Matthew's idea of camping!) He had a movie playing, was laying in the bed, with plenty to drink and eat, and he was good to go! We had a great time, and guess what? Now Jacob thinks we need to get a camper to pull behind our car so we can go camping and stay a long time and everyone can come and just visit with us!
