On Friday, Jacob's school presented students with certificates for scoring either Proficient or Distinguished in the four different testing areas on the K-Prep testing for last school year. (Jacob's 4th grade year.) I was one proud momma when Jacob received four certificates...Proficient in Reading, Science and Math; Distinguished in Language Mechanics. Later in the day, the school rewarded students for the scrimmage tests that they had taken and Jacob was included in those rewards as well. It makes me super-proud that Jacob LOVES all things boy...being outside, bikes, ball, guns, getting dirty, etc., but that he still does really well in school and loves to read. I consider him a "well-rounded" young man. :)
It also made me very proud that he wanted me to attend the ceremony and that I even got a spontaneous hug before leaving! I know my days are numbered!! Haha!!
