On Saturday night, Jacob and I dyed two dozen eggs. I wasn't sure if he would want to do them or not, but he was actually pretty excited about it. I had originally wanted to have an "egg-dying party" at the house on Saturday, but the timing didn't work out. We'll definitely be planning that for next year! Jacob and I really had a lot of fun!!
Once we finished the eggs, we set out the baskets for the Easter Bunny to fill.

The first thing that Jacob mentioned that he hoped he got for Easter was a chocolate bunny. I'm pretty sure he got that! He also got Wreck-It Ralph on DVD, The Croods book, a Ballistics hot wheel, some Pokémon cards and LOTS of candy.
Matthew got a huge bag of Krabby Patties, Rise of the Guardians on DVD, a wrestling man, some Sesame Street books and LOTS of candy. (Let me throw in right here that yes, I am totally aware that Matthew's pajamas do not match and that he has a huge hole in his shirt. The poor boy chews holes in his shirts and we just continue to use them, especially at night, until they practically fall apart. Truthfully, if you look close enough, you can usually find at least one small hole on the front of every shirt he has worn more than twice.)
I have heard a lot of people say that chocolate bunnies end up getting thrown away at their houses...NOT here! Jacob's big bunny has already been entirely consumed!

We went over to my parents for lunch. Turkey and dressing, ham, and all the fixings! Not to mention the yummy desserts...some that may have gotten stolen right off of my plate...while I was eating it! We also had the big egg hunt for the kiddos. Since the ground was still wet from where it had rained that morning, we decided to just put Matthew's special eggs in the living room floor and let him pick them up. He liked this just as well (probably better!) than being outside.

The Hunters. We have always divided the groups into younger/older groups, but decided to let everyone hunt together this year. That won't be happening again. While there was no bodily harm inflicted, no one liked the combined group. Haha!

Jacob finally agreed to hold the baby long enough to get a quick picture. Mason wasn't quite as happy to agree! Jacob was very anxious to give him back and now thinks that the baby hates him. Haha!
I got this out of order and wasn't about to mess up the entire post by trying to move it up! Here is the hubs and myself...
