Veteran's Day 2011

Hooray!  I finally figured out a way to upload photos and make them look right!  (For anyone that needs the tip...I uploaded them to my picasa web album, which stores all of the pictures for your blog anyway, and then uploaded from there.  It's not too much trouble; just an added step.)

Anyway, I am going back to November to pick up where I left off.  On November 11th, Kyrock held its annual Veteran's Day Program.
Jacob was asked to read an excerpt from the Presidential Proclamation for Veteran's Day.  I thought he did an awesome job!  :)
As they have done the last few years, they allow all of the children, and adults, to shake hands with all of the veterans.  As I've said before, I'm not sure who enjoys this more, the students or the veterans.

And just for fun...a couple of pictures of one of the most handsome fellas I know!

Jacob and the other students who took part in the program.

Stay tuned for more posts!  Now that I've got the picture thing figured out, maybe I can get caught up!  :)
