We had a super-fun Labor Day weekend! Jacob started on Friday night with Trent's birthday party at Kyrock's gym. He had lots of fun! The boys spent the day on Saturday with Jason while I went to the shop to work, and that night we went to watch the Hot Rods play ball with Grandma and Grandpa. (It was their first time to visit Bowling Green Ball Park.) We all enjoyed the free game, (a friend came in the shop giving away tickets!), the Hot Rods won and Matthew got to eat. :) (We had really good seats! Can you see Mom, Dad, Jacob and Jason down there on the third row? Matthew and I stayed up top where he could sit in his stroller.)
On Sunday afternoon, we took a boat ride with Uncle Jeromy.
Matthew was happy to be eating once again. ;)
We went farther than we ever had...and then the boat messed up. Thankfully, we were able to make it back to Wax and could call Grandpa to come pick us up. Jason, the three boys and I rode back to the dam with him, and then Jason took the truck and trailer to pick up the boat and everyone else. We still had fun even though we didn't get to make the return trip. Then on Monday, we had steaks at the shop for lunch, Jacob rode his go-cart and Matthew took a ride on the Kubota. I don't think anyone was ready to go back to school/work, but at least it was a four day week!
