Brothers

Jason and I enjoyed the most precious afternoon outside with our boys today.  Matthew has been wanting to sit on the front porch the last few days and he has also had a fascination with these three certain bouncy balls he has.  This afternoon, he decided that he wanted to play ball outside and Jacob was his teammate.  :)  It was so special to watch Matthew initiating this game and to see him sort of make the "rules" up.  For example, it was as if he had to take the balls and touch the porch steps with them.  It was so funny!  And, if Jacob walked up on the porch, Matthew would go get him and make him come back in the grass to play.  For as simple as this little game was, it was truly PRICELESS to watch these sweet brothers interacting.  Yep, my heart melted!  (I love hearing Matthew say "Jacob" too...he really puts an 'up' on the end.  ;)

 

I have no idea how many times he would either throw or touch the balls to the porch.  :)
